Karaoke, hotsprings and friends!

Wow!!! I had a truly amazing time in Beppu, and I’m so sorry for not posting any travel updates. I have just been having to much fun to be able to post! I will give you guys a update on my trip to Beppu!
From Osaka, we took a ferry called «Sunflower» to Beppu. This is a huge overnight ferry which looks amazing

Ticketts!
It wasn’t cheap at all. We paid over 30.000 yen together (about 2000 NOK) The buffet were great with a lot of variety of food and drinks

Buffet!
There were no cellular or Wifi connection on the ship, however we still had some great time going to the grand bath, having massage and TV!

Its very warm and nice to be on deck!
At 6:55 AM we arrived Beppu and were ready for spending our last days here!

We are arriving!
When arriving at the dock, we wandered around and took a bus for a bit until we reached the «city centre» of beppu where we had lunch at 8 am when they eere opening! British style breakfast this time!

But wow, this city is amazing! And we did some really fun things in the upcoming days

Culture shock. No chairs?!
Herr we are playing Super Smash on the floor! Im so amazed because in Japan, sitting and sleeping on the floor is very common, and they find it more comfortable than a bed or chair!
I was taken to really good places to eat, and we had such a great time together!

Cooking our own food!
We also went to alot of viewings! Beppu is Japans nr. 1 place for hot springs. Hot springs are basicly boiling water underneath the ground, that is erupting. The city use these springs and make public bath of it! They also use it in their home to have hot water!

We also went to a japanese classic: KARAOKE! In Norway we ususally have public karaoke when drunk, but in Japan they have so many karaoke establishments with small rooms where you can gather with friends and family and have a good time. It was really fun, and you could really sing from your chest there!

Karaoke
We payed 1300 yen (86 NOK) for 4 hours of karaoke, pool and darts. Crazy!

Pool!
We also went to a beauiful city called Yufuin! Here we had a human taxi showing us around (he got a really good salary, don’t worry) and explained everything about this beautiful area. Apparently, it was planned to be a new megacity in Japan, but the farmers refused to sell their land. They had been to Europe, and wanted the city to be European styled and calm!

Taxi and guide!

It’s beautiful here

Beautiful scenery
Definitivt worth a travel!
After, we said farewell! THANK YOU for everything, I had such a great time!!! I will miss all of them alot!! Now I have to head for Fukuoka for my next experiences!!!
Thanks for reading!
