The trip of my life coming up soon...

I can’t believe it’s less than a week until I’ve packed my bags and head out on the trip of my life! Every time I open the SAS app and see the number, it just feels so surreal.

Why would I do this you maybe ask?

Well, it’s a crazy world we live in. Countries go to war, prices keep rising, new viruses appear - all things you have no control over. And I just have this feeling that I have to experience the world, because it has so much to offer. I don’t want to be stuck doing the same things every day (work lol). A sunbathing trip to Spain is cool, sure, but I’ve been there plenty times before - you know exactly what to expect.

Right now I have no kids, I’m single, I’m free, hehe. I’ve got no obligations to take care of (and that might change someday). I don’t own an apartment, a car, or anything that ties me down either. And honestly, that’s so freeing. I feel like I should use this opportunity while I have it.

But I can’t deny that a huge part of my decision to go to Asia was because of the amazing friends I got to know last year. You’ll definitely get to know them throughout my journey!

Spending time with my friends from Asia, I fell in love with their culture and lifestyle. I wanted to go there and experience it for myself. Just hanging out with them made me feel like I was becoming a better version of myself - and I want more of that.
